Wright partners with CalSERVES to provide support programs to qualified
students that extend from early in the morning until late in the afternoon.
These programs engages college student AmeriCorps members, who make a
year-long commitment to provide support to our students.  The programs
include:

CalSERVES After School
The CalSERVES after school program provides youth a safe and productive
place to be from the end of the school day until 6 PM Monday-Friday. This
program features reading instruction, homework support, math/science
programs, character education, nutrition/physical education, service
learning, and a variety of engaging enrichment activities.

CalSERVES Literacy Tutoring
The literacy tutoring program provides one-on-one reading tutoring 4 days
per week to support struggling readers. This program supports students with
individualized instruction and intensive support to promote skill
development and a love of reading.
